Requirements
  • This program is open to AAGS members who are enrolled at a 4-year college or university.
  • Applicants must be majoring in surveying or a closelyrelated program (e.g., mapping, surveying engineering, geographic information systems, geodetic science).
  • Preference is given to students whose program has a significant emphasis on geodetic surveying.
  • Selection is based on that statement (30%), academic record (30%), letters of recommendation (20%), and professional activities (20%); if 2 or more applicants are judged equal based on those criteria, financial need may be considered.
