Requirements
  • Eligible are the children, stepchildren, or legally adopted children of current, retired, or deceased members of the APWU who have been in good standing for at least 1 year or were members for 1 year immediately preceding death.
  • Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited trade, technical, industrial, or vocational school.
  • Selection is based on school records, personal qualifications, evidence of a commitment to an occupation, response to contemporary questions, and an essay of 350 to 500 words on an assigned topic.
