American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science-New York Student Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) who are residents of New York working on an undergraduate or graduate degree at a college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of New York who are ASCLS members enrolled at a college or university in the state.
  • Applicants must be working on an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in clinical laboratory science.
  • They must be enrolled in 1) the third year of a "3+1" approved program; 2) the fourth year of a "4+1" approved program; or 3) the second year at a junior or community college and accepted as a junior in an approved bachelor's degree program in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or physics with the goal of entering the profession of clinical laboratory science.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
