Angela Nies Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to women in Virginia who are interested in attending college in any state to improve their job skills and training.

Requirements

This program is open to women who are residents of Virginia and currently employed.

Applicants must be interested in enrolling at a postsecondary educational institution in a course of study that will qualify them for employment in a specific field or will improve their skills in their present area of employment.

They must be able to demonstrate financial need.

Nontraditional students are strongly encouraged to apply.
