Ark-La-Tex Chapter MOAA Academic Scholarship provides financial assistance to descendants of members of the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) who are high school seniors planning to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who are the children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of a member of the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of MOAA. Applicants may be attending high school in any state, as long as they are sponsored by a chapter member who is their parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent.

They must be planning to attend a college or university in any state.

Selection is based on academic performance, earned honors, involvement in school and community activities, and leadership.
