Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings Academic Scholarship provide financial assistance for continuing college education to members of Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) non-graduating AS200, AS300, and AS400 Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings cadets in Air Force ROTC; and 2) Silver Wings civilian sophomores, juniors, and non-graduating seniors.
  • Each AFROTC Detachment Commander may nominate 1 Arnold Air Society member from each class and 1 Silver Wings member from each class.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Selection is based primarily on the essay's content and strength of supporting arguments (40%), originality of thought (25%), conformance with accepted English composition and bibliographic standards (10%), and conformance with formatting instructions (5%); other factors considered include a demonstration of leadership and service (10%) and demonstration of financial need (10%).
