Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Iowa and students attending school in that state who are U.S. citizens or otherwise legally allowed to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must be working or planning to work full or parttime on 1) a 1-year diploma in a welding-related field; 2) a 2-year associate degree in welding; or 3) a bachelor's or higher degree in welding engineering or a related field.
  • They must be able to demonstrate financial need.
