The Bernie Smillie Memorial Scholarship-Michigan Resident is available to graduating high school seniors who reside in Michigan's lower peninsula. Students planning to attend a trade or vocational school, or a 2- or 4-year college or university are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need and involvement with their work, school, and community.
