Bettye Moss Powers Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Baptist churches in Tennessee who have been active in Baptist mission programs and are enrolled as upper-division students at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to members and active participants in a Tennessee Baptist church who are enrolled full-time as upper-division undergraduates at a college or university in the state to prepare for a career in missions.

Applicants must show evidence of participation in Tennessee Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) missions programs, Baptist collegiate ministries, or Tennessee Baptist missions/ministry.

They must have a GPA of 2.6 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.

Preference is given to women, but men may be considered if no women apply.
