The Beverly L. Pierce & Janet M. Petersen Education Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or nontraditional students who are from the greater Battle Creek area, Galesburg-Augusta, and Gull Lake Community Schools in Michigan. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Special consideration will be given to students in the following order: 1. female students with financial need who may be nontraditional students or have a difficult family situation; 2. students who are planning to attend or are currently attending Kellogg Community College and Western Michigan University in Michigan.

  • Resident of Calhoun or Kalamazoo counties, Augusta, Galesburg, or Richland, Michigan
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • U.S. citizen, asylumseeker or asylee, conditional permanent resident, permanent resident, or refugee Preference is given to students in the following order: 1. female students with financial need who may be nontraditional students or have a difficult family situation; 2. students who are planning to attend or are currently attending Kellogg Community College and Western Michigan University in Michigan.
