Requirements
  • This program is open to full- and part-time students at colleges and universities in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in an ABETaccredited program in civil engineering, transportation engineering, transportation planning, or another transportation-related field.
  • Applications are judged on the basis of the submission's 1) content related to innovative design, operation, or construction of traffic control devices; 2) focus on "thinking outside the box" to solve problems; and 3) innovative presentation techniques and/or humor.
