Bobby Dodd Memorial Scholarship for Outstanding Community Service provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Georgia who are physically challenged, have an outstanding record of community service, and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to physically-challenged seniors graduating from high schools in Georgia and planning to attend an accredited college or university in any state.

Membership in Civitan International is not required, but Junior Civitan Club members are encouraged to apply.

Interested students must submit a 500word essay on their community activities and how those experiences have prepared them for life.

In the selection process, academic achievement and financial need are considered, but the overwhelming factor is community service involvement.
