Braxton Bragg Chapter AUSA Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Braxton Bragg Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) in North Carolina and their dependents who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to chapter members and their families in North Carolina who are working on or planning to work on an undergraduate, graduate, or technical degree at a college or technical school in any state.

Applicants must submit a 500word essay on a topic that changes annually (recently, students were asked to explain how a person makes a difference in our world); letters of recommendation; a list of personal accomplishments; and a transcript that includes their ACT or SAT score.

Selection is based on academic achievement (50%), participation in extracurricular activities at school (25%), and participation in community service activities (25%).
