The Burton Family Foundation Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors at high schools in Maricopa County, Arizona. Students who have been enrolled in a college readiness program and are planning to attend a public institution in Arizona are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Graduating senior from a high school in Maricopa County, Arizona
  • Participation in an AVID program (minimum of 3 years) or a program of Be A Leader Foundation, GEAR UP, TRIO, TRIO Upward Bound, AGUILA, or Si Se Puede
  • Planning to attend Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, or an Arizona community college
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student
  • Demonstrate a commitment to higher education despite personal/financial obstacles
