California Coastal Chapter API Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties in California who are sponsored by a member of the American Petroleum Institute (API).

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties and graduates of those high schools currently enrolled at a college, university, junior college, or trade/technical school in any state.
  • Applicants must be sponsored by a current API member.
  • Selection is based on that essay, transcripts, 2 letters of recommendation in addition to that of their sponsor, a list of school and community activities, and any special circumstances.
