The California State Fair Youth Assistants and Exhibitors Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of California who are former participants in the California State Fair. Qualified high school seniors seeking an associate or bachelor's degree at a college or university in the state are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of California
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend school in California
  • Exhibited in state fair competitive programs for youth (livestock, horse, small animal, dog, or still exhibits) during the preceding 3 years; OR
  • Participated as a volunteer during the preceding 3 years in the California State Fair Youth Task Force or the California State Fair Kaiser Permanente Farm Programs as a guide, intern, or assistant in preparation for the Fair, during the Fair, or offseason
