Carol Murphy Memorial Endowment Scholarship provides financial assistance to mature residents of designated states who plan to major in business or education at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Indiana, Missouri, or Texas who are at least 25 years of age.

Applicants must be 1) enrolled in college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; 2) enrolled at a technical school or returning to school after an absence for retraining of job skills or obtaining a degree; or 3) engaged in the online study through an accredited college, university, or vocational school.

They may be attending or planning to attend an accredited school anywhere in the United States and major in education or business.

Selection is based on service and leadership (15 points), financial need (50 points), and scholastic ability (25 points).

A $5 processing fee is required. Completed applications must be submitted to the ESA state counselor who then verifies the information before forwarding them to the scholarship director.
