The Civic Federation 911 Scholarship is open to residents of Arlington County, Virginia who are seeking an undergraduate degree. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or graduates who have deferred college enrollment for a year. Students who have a parent who has been a county uniformed public employee or dispatcher for at least 10 years, as well as those who are retired, disabled, or deceased are eligible to apply.

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Resident of Arlington County, Virginia
  • Graduating senior at a high school in the county (Arlington Community, Bishop Denis J. O'Connell, Wakefield, WashingtonLiberty, Yorktown) **or**
  • High school graduate who has deferred college enrollment for 1 year
  • Parent has been uniformed public safety employee or dispatcher for at least 10 years
  • Parent is retired from or permanently disabled on the job at the public safety department
  • Parent was public safety employee killed in the line of duty
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
