The Dean Memorial Legacy Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to students in California who have belonged to 4-H.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of California who are or were (at the time of their high school graduation equivalent, such as GED ) enrolled in the 4-H Youth Development Program.

Applicants may be high school seniors or high school graduates who are not older than 25 years of age enrolled or planning to enroll at least halftime or full-time at a college or university.

They may study any field.

Selection is based on how 4H has influenced their future plans, involvement with leadership and citizenship experiences, and demonstrated level of skill and knowledge in a project area.
