Requirements
  • This competition is open to legal residents of the United States and its territories who are currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
  • Applicants must submit an essay, up to 1,500 words in length, on a topic that changes annually but relates to health.
  • Recently, students were asked to write on climate change and the importance of sustainable practices.
  • Selection is based on writing ability (25%), creativity (25%), originality (25%), and overall excellence (25%).
