Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with funding for tuition or repayment of educational loans, undergraduates who submit outstanding written and video presentations on their goals and how they wish to change the world.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students between 18 and 24 years of age who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited 2- or 4-year college or university.
  • Applicants must submit an essay, with a 50character introduction and 350-character explanation, on their goals and how they want to change the world.
  • They must also submit 1minute videos focusing on how winning this tuition will impact their life, show their personality, and elaborate on their academic and professional goals.
  • Based on those videos, finalists are selected and invited to attend the championship games of 5 college football conferences: the Pac12 at Santa Clara, California, the Atlantic Coast Conference at Charlotte, North Carolina, the Big Ten at Indianapolis, the Southeastern Conference at Atlanta, and the Big 12 at Arlington, Texas.
  • During halftime of those nationallytelevised games, the finalists selected for each match compete by attempting to throw footballs into a goal.
  • Based on the number of footballs thrown into the goal, a winner, runnerup, and 2 consolation prize recipients are selected at each game.
