The Edlong Scholarship is available to students who are currently seeking a bachelor's degree, graduate degree, or Ph.D. in food science approved by the Institute of Food Technologists. Students who demonstrate academic merit and a commitment to the science of the food profession are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students transferring from a community college who are first-generation college or international students, and to those with the greatest financial need.
