The Faye and Robert Lett Scholarship provides funding to African American upper-division and graduate students from Ohio who are interested in preparing for the Baptist ministry at a college or seminary in any state.

Requirements

African American resident of Ohio who has completed at least 2 years of study at a college or university.

Seeking a bachelor's or master's degree.

Member of a church affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Ohio or a church duallyaligned with the American Baptist Churches of Ohio.

Preparing for a professional career in Christian ministry (such as a local church pastor, church education, youth or young adult ministries, church music, specialized ministry, chaplaincy, ministry in higher education, or missionary service);

Committed to working professionally within the framework of the American Baptist Churches USA.

Demonstrate financial need.
