The Florida Emerging Journalists Scholarship is awarded to a rising junior or senior student at Florida International University, who is a resident of Florida. Students who demonstrate a commitment to journalism preferably in Florida newsrooms upon graduation are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
