Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Pennsylvania who are eligible for services under the Pennsylvania John H. Chafee Foster Care Independence Program and are younger than 26 years of age.
  • That applies to youth who are or were in foster care on or after attaining age or have exited foster care on or after age 16 to adoption or permanent legal guardianship.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at least halftime at an approved college or career school in Pennsylvania and still have charges remaining after all other federal, state, or other scholarships and grants have been applied to their account.
