The Francis McMann Scholarship was established in 2011 by Dyan and John Smith to honor teacher Francis McMann and to assist deserving students graduating from Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Students with a high moral character who are seeking a bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Those planning to major in business or economics receive special consideration.
