The GCI Scholarship is offered to graduating seniors from a high school in Alaska. Students who wish to pursue a degree or certification in the STEM field are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who intend to return to Alaska for a career and are from the rural Alaska area.

  • Minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Graduating senior from a high school in Alaska
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in the STEM field GCI employees and contracted staff, and their children, are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Preference is given to students who live in rural Alaska, and who intend to return to Alaska to start a career.
