The GEAR UP Tuition Assistance Trust Scholarship is for Hawaii GEAR UP Scholars who have submitted a Step Up pledge while attending a Title 1 school. In addition to having graduated from high school, applicants who have earned a State of Hawaii Board of Education Recognition Diploma are welcome to apply. The GEAR UP program supports efforts to increase the number of low-income students who obtain a secondary school diploma and to prepare them for and succeed in postsecondary education. Students seeking an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply.

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in U.S. as a fulltime student

Demonstrate financial need Priority for funding is given to students studying in the state of Hawaii and for students who are Pell Grant eligible.
