Grace Holmes, MD Nursing Scholarship provides financial assistance to descendants of members of the American Legion and Auxiliary in North Dakota who are interested in studying nursing at a school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of North Dakota who are honorably discharged veterans or spouses, children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of living, deceased, or disabled veterans.

Applicants must be members or descendants of members of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary in good standing.

They must be graduating high school seniors or students already enrolled in an R.N. or L.P.N. training program at a school of nursing in any state.

Selection is based on scholarship (30%), character (20%), and financial need (50%).
