The H. Burton Bates Jr. Scholarship is open to students at colleges and universities in Virginia. Applicants must be studying accounting as rising juniors or seniors or as recipients of an undergraduate degree enrolled at least part time to complete additional required course work. Students planning to take the CPA examination are encouraged to apply.
