HANA Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division and graduates Methodist students who are of Hispanic, Asian, Native American, or Pacific Islander ancestry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time juniors, seniors, and graduate students at accredited colleges and universities in the United States who have been active, full members of a United Methodist Church (UMC) for at least 3 years prior to applying.
  • Applicants must have at least 1 parent who is Hispanic, Asian, or Native American.
  • They must be able to demonstrate involvement in their Hispanic, Asian, or Native American (HANA) community in the UMC. Selection is based on that involvement, academic ability (GPA of at least 2.85), and financial need.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
