Hispanic Public Relations Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to Hispanic undergraduate and graduate students from California who are attending college in southern California and preparing for a career in public relations.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of California who are of at least 25% Hispanic descent and entering the sophomore, junior, or senior year at a 4-year college or university or enrolling as a graduate student in Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, or Ventura counties.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher cumulatively and 3.0 or higher in their major subject.
  • They must be majoring in public relations, communications, journalism, advertising, and/or marketing.
  • Students majoring in other disciplines but planning to work in the public relations industry are also eligible.
  • Any materials submitted in Spanish must include an English translation.
  • Recipients are expected to attend the sponsor's Premio Awards dinner in October.
