Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of the greater Los Angeles County area, including Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.
  • Applicants must be committed to, and qualified for, continuing the academic pursuit of an R.N., L.V.N., or graduate degree in nursing at a school in the greater Los Angeles area or at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV).
  • They must have completed some units toward such a degree prior to applying.
  • Both men and women are eligible.
  • Selection is based on the ability to articulate a clear statement of goals, the likelihood of goal attainment, demonstration of personal courage and commitment, and financial need.
