Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors in Sonoma County, California who plan to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.
  • Applicants or their parents must have been members of the Sonoma County JACL for at least 2 years.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.8 or higher.
  • Their statement should emphasize their Japanese ancestry and/or their connection with the Asian/Japanese American community and how it has affected or impacted who they are as well as their personal goals.
