About the Scholarship

The K9 Sgt. Gannon Self-Sponsor Scholarship is available to recruits seeking to attend the Cape Cod Municipal Police Academy. Residents of Massachusetts who have earned 60 college credits or received an honorable military discharge are encouraged to apply. In the selection process, consideration is given to community involvement and commitment to professional development. Residents of southeastern Massachusetts and applicants who already hold a bachelor's or advanced degree in criminal justice or emergency management receive special consideration.
