Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Kansas who are graduating high school seniors, GED recipients, or current undergraduate students.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on a certificate or degree in welding, joining applications, and/or a related field.
  • They must be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based on organizational skills; participation in class, campus, and outside organizations; participation in student or section activities of the American Welding Society (AWS); general background information; and career objectives.
