Kansas State Nurses Association District 2 Scholarship provides financial assistance to students in Kansas who are working on a nursing degree at the undergraduate, master's, or doctoral level at a school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to students who are working on a nursing degree at the undergraduate or graduate level at a college or university in Kansas.

Applicants must be residents of Kansas who have lived at some time in their life for at least 1 year in 1 of the following counties: Johnson, Leavenworth, or Wyandotte.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

They must be enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester, but preference is given to fulltime students.

The following priority is used in awarding scholarships: 1) R.N.s working on B.S.N.s; 2) graduate and postgraduate nursing students; 3) students enrolled in certificate nursing programs (e.g., advanced registered nurse practitioner); and 4) students enrolled in undergraduate nursing programs.

U.S. citizenship is required.
