Kent W. Hamlin Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to community college students who are participating in the Nuclear Uniform Curriculum Program (NUCP) of the nuclear power industry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students working on a 2-year associate degree that is part of the NUCP. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay describing how they see themselves contributing to the U.S. nuclear power industry following successful graduation from the NUCP program of study.
  • They must be members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and sponsored by the faculty adviser of an ANS student chapter or an individual ANS member.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement.
