Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Civil Engineering Scholarship provides scholarship/loans to civil engineering students at selected postsecondary institutions in Kentucky.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students entering or enrolled in a civil engineering program at the University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University, or the University of Louisville; students may also enroll in a pre-engineering program at Kentucky State University, through the Kentucky Community and Technical College system, or at another college or university in Kentucky and transfer to 1 of the 4-year institutions to complete their bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Applicants must be Kentucky residents who have an ACT score of 24 or higher.
  • They must be interested in working for the Transportation Cabinet during the summer and after graduation.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic standing (including ACT score for entering freshmen), and letters of recommendation.
