Let's Grow Kids Scholarship for Aspiring Early Educators provides financial assistance to Vermont residents who are interested in working on a degree in early childhood education at a school in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to Vermont high school seniors and currently-enrolled college students who are enrolled or planning to enroll at least three quarter time at a college or university in the state.
  • College students must be members of the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children.
  • All applicants must be interested in working on an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, including early childhood special education, child and family studies, child care administration, child development, child psychology, family studies, and human services with an early childhood concentration.
  • They must demonstrate an intention to work in Vermont for at least 2 years after college.
  • High school seniors must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher; current college students must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, and a letter of recommendation.
