Lewis V. Carpenter Scholarship Fund for Members' Children provides financial assistance to children of members of the West Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) who are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be the child of a West Virginia Section AWWA member who has been a member for at least 5 consecutive years.
  • They may be majoring in any field, but they must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based primarily on academic achievement.
