Los Angeles County Chapter ACEC of California Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division and graduate students working on a degree in engineering or surveying who are either residents of Los Angeles County or attending a college in the county.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time students who are entering their junior, senior, fifth, or graduate year in an ABET-accredited program in engineering or surveying.
  • Applicants must be residents of Los Angeles County or attending a college or university in that county.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher in engineering and/or land surveying courses and 3.2 or higher overall.
  • Selection is based on the essay (25%), cumulative GPA (20%), work experience (27%, a letter of recommendation (15%), and extracurricular college activities (13%).
