Louisiana Seafood Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of any state who are interested in attending college in Louisiana to prepare for a career related to seafood.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of any state who have been accepted into or completed at least 2 consecutive semesters of full-time work on an associate or bachelor's degree at a college or university in Louisiana.

Applicants must be interested in preparing for a career in cultivating, protecting, and promoting Louisiana seafood.

They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selection is based on those essays, transcripts, academic honors and achievements, and hospitality work experience.

Students in certificate programs are not eligible.
