Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and full-time freshmen, sophomores, and juniors younger than 23 years of age enrolled at accredited colleges, universities, or vocational schools in any state.
  • Applicants must have a parent, stepparent, or guardian who has been employed for at least 1 year at an eligible MTA/NJ member company.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher and acceptable ACT or SAT scores.
  • Selection is based on academic record, test scores, leadership abilities as demonstrated by extracurricular activities and work record, and financial need.
