Mary N. Brooks Scholarship provides financial assistance to women in Wyoming, especially descendants of members of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Wyoming (GFWC-W) who are students at colleges in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are residents of Wyoming and attending or planning to attend the University of Wyoming, a Wyoming community college, or any licensed, accredited technical, vocational, or trade school in the state.
  • Applicants must submit a 350word essay on themselves, including why they are applying for this scholarship, their financial circumstances, their family and work situation, any and all special circumstances, any financial aid they are receiving, any specific degree they are pursuing, and their school and extracurricular activities.
  • High school seniors must submit transcripts that include SAT and/or ACT scores; college students must submit current transcripts.
  • Preference is given to daughters and granddaughters of members of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Wyoming.
