Minority-Serving Institution STEM Bridge Scholarship provides financial assistance to students at designated Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in North Carolina studying space-related fields of STEM.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time students at designated MSIs and HBCUs in North Carolina who are studying a STEM discipline of interest to the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
  • Applicants must have completed at least 1 semester of work on a bachelor's degree.
  • They must be U.S. citizens or nationals and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Students enrolled in a Dual Engineering Degree program are eligible but applied health science majors are not.
  • Selection is based on academic merit, prior success in STEM course work, research and/or handson projects in STEM, extracurricular activities, faculty recommendation, and demonstrate interest in NASA and a career in STEM.
