Requirements
  • This program is open to legally blind residents of Colorado who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state (except for 1 scholarship reserved for an applicant who is employed full-time and studying part-time).
  • Applicants must submit 2 letters of recommendation, current transcripts, a personal letter that describes their best qualities, and a letter from a state officer of the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado indicating that they have discussed their scholarship application with that officer.
  • Selection is based on academic excellence, service to the community, and financial need.
