Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in New Jersey who plan to attend college in any state.
  • Applicants must submit an essay of 300 to 500 words on how a school counselor has influenced their life in a positive way.
  • The counselor must be a member of the New Jersey School Counselor Association (NJSCA).
  • Along with the essay and the application, students must submit, through their counselor, copies of their high school transcript, high school profile, and letter of acceptance to a postsecondary institution.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
