Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and currently-enrolled graduate students in the Pacific Northwest who "have a background in American-Norwegian ideals." Applicants must be interested in preparing for a career in fisheries management or research in the Pacific Northwest or Alaska.
  • Students in fishery technical schools, such as the Maritime Academy, are also eligible.
  • Selection is based on financial need, academic capability, and activities of the applicant.
