NSCA Minority Scholarship provides financial assistance to minorities who are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in strength training and conditioning.

Requirements
  • This program is open to African Americans, Hispanics, Asian Americans, and Native Americans who are 17 years of age and older.
  • Applicants must have been accepted into an accredited postsecondary institution to work on an undergraduate or graduate degree in the strength and conditioning field.
  • Eligible fields of study include anatomy, athletic training, biomedical engineering, exercise physiology, exercise science, human biology, human performance, kinesiology, personal training, physical education, physical therapy, physiology, sport science, or strength and conditioning.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, strength and conditioning experience, honors and awards, community involvement, letters of recommendation, and involvement in the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
